Seminar Methods of Comparative Planning
Master Urban and Regional Development at University of Kaiserslautern
The purpose of this innovative seminar is to provide the students with scientific meth-odological competences for a structured international comparison of spatial planning processes. Best practice projects of comparative planning as well as research de-signs (i.a. EU projects) will be presented and discussed.

Shrinking Cities
PhD course Politecnico di Torino
The course introduces current aspects of urban development in an international context, based on selected examples. Its emphasis is on growth and shrinkage in comparison, although the topic shrinking cities will be analyzed in detail.
